United States: A company in Minnesota called Michael Foods is recalling 4,620 pounds of liquid egg products because they were labelled incorrectly. The eggs contain milk, which is not mentioned on the label, and milk is a common allergen.
Details of the Recall
The recall affects 32-ounce cartons of Fair Meadow Foundations Whole Eggs with Citric Acid made on June 11, 2024. These products were sent to restaurants and other places in Alabama, Idaho, Louisiana, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico, Ohio, South Carolina, and Utah. The U.S. Department of Agriculture says this recall is for safety reasons.

Discovery of the Issue
The food and the company discovered the problem that when some Whole Egg with Citric Acid cartons and were unaccounted for and also there was a corresponding company’s inventory and the company notified the FSIS when it found that a short production run of the Breakfast Blend Scrambled Egg, which includes milk as an ingredient which used the unaccounted for the Whole Egg with the Citric Acid cartons also the milk is among the allergens the Food and Drug Administration requires he declared on the product labels.
So far there have been no confirmed reports of the adverse reactions due to the consumptions of these products the FSIS said.
No Reports of Illnesses Yet
As reported in the USATODAY one must have the check on the food, vehicle and the consumer product recalls.
32-ounce cartons of the Fair and the Meadow Foundations Whole Eggs with the Citric Acid with the coming date and because they contain milk an allergen not listed on the carton.
What to Do With the Affected Products
The Food Safety and Inspection Service is that some of the products may be in the refrigerators of restaurants or other institutions. These particular products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase and not served, the agency said.
While there have been no illnesses reported ,anyone concerned about an illness or particular injury should contact a healthcare provider the agency said.
